YUE YUAN
Yue Yuan is an MFA candidate at the School of Visual Arts. Her practice explores the inner landscape of human collapse through a synthesis of Western art history and the fluid vitality of Chinese calligraphy. She treats the brush as an extension of the body—not merely depicting the figure, but writing it into being. Through this gesture, the form undergoes metamorphosis, as sorrow and mortality dissolve its solidity into a shifting presence
