YOORIM KO
Yoorim Ko (Korchive) (b. 2000, Seoul, South Korea) is a New York–based multidisciplinary artist working across painting, installation, and mixed media. Her practice explores internal landscapes shaped by emotion, memory, and subconscious experience, examining the tension between surface and inscape—the visible self and an inner essence that resists capture. Drawing from private moments and bodily sensations, Ko creates layered works through intuitive mark-making and material experimentation.
Yoorim holds a BFA from Seoul National University of Science and Technology and is currently an MFA candidate at the School of Visual Arts, New York.
