BAILEY SANTAGUIDA

Primarily working with painting, video, and installation, Bailey Santaguida (b.2000) visually translates her journals and works of creative writing. In her journals, she considers her friendships and relationship to home over long periods of time, while in her creative writing, she observes the similarities of seemingly different topics in the form of short stories. Her visual art allows her to capture these two ways of thinking and the many subjects she cares about all at once.

Bailey graduated with a B.A. in Visual Art and Media Practices and Psychology from the University of Richmond in May of 2023 and participated in the Reynolds Gallery 2023 group exhibition “Boundless” and the 2024 exhibition “Making Waves.” She was an artist in residence at Vermont Studio Center in August 2023. She currently lives in NYC working as a CGI artist and animator.
