AWESUM CRAWFORD
My name is Ashley Crawford and I'm a Bronx-born, Brooklyn- based, multidisciplinary artist. I mostly paint in a surrealist fashion with and emphasis on intimate scenes within my paintings since the worlds I create are intimate by nature. They are my dreams, my visions, and wild thoughts about the people in my life and the society I live in.
I have had minor fine arts teaching since my school days, but I am completely self taught and experimental.
I have shown many of my works in exhibits ranging from The Hall in Brooklyn to the Clemente Center in the Lower East Side. I’ve been published in art magazines such as Curious Publishing and New American Paintings.
