Elizabeth Whitaker is a Brooklyn-based artist and designer whose work explores the space between memory and imagination through the deliberate distortion of observed figures. Moving between experimental and traditional techniques, she builds layered surfaces playing with color, proportion, and tactility. Informed by her background in industrial design, Elizabeth considers tensions between the natural and the manufactured, the real and the imagined.
