UDI CASSIRER
Visual artist of Moroccan and Romanian descent, based in New York City. Cassirer explores the complex relationship between traditional painting and digital technology. His artistic motivation arises from a desire to dismantle conventional visual narratives and reassemble them through technological perspectives, thereby questioning the traditional dominance of handmade art. The deliberate "Glitches" in his gestural works serve both as an aesthetic feature and a powerful symbol of the disruptions and uncertainties present in our modern world, highlighting social changes and environmental issues.
His artistic foundation was established through formal education at the Midrasha School of Art, and the Multimedia School with self-taught practice.
Notable exhibitions, include Fu: Bar: Glitch Artwork Online and Zagreb, Croatia, 2022. Ai/Ai Sunderland University Pavilion, The Wrong Biennale, UK 2023, CICA Museum "Voices 2025", Korea. Recognized as an emerging talent from Asia and its diaspora, both domestically and internationally (Artsy), his is artworks are featured in private collections.
