Rachael Roth is a native of Dallas, TX and has been creating art by way of finger painting and sidewalk chalk since
pre-school. As a full-time unit publicist working to produce marketing and promotional material for feature films, Roth has found an outlet through art to express herself and "let it all go", as she says. Her process reflects her current mental state.
In COVID lockdown, forced to surrender all control in her day to day, she relied on rigid lines and solid blocks of color to regain a sense of control and order in her life. Slowly, as the world continues to open up, she has reintroduced play and freedom into her strokes while still tackling internal churn stemming from constant uncertainty and mortality.
