My work aims to celebrate Queerness, with a particular emphasis on deconstructing stifling ideals of the gender binary. The subjects I choose to portray exhibit a calm, confident sensuality and freedom of expression that challenges traditional imagery of masculine and feminine ideals.

I want the work to evoke a sense of magic and fantasy, to celebrate each subject with an otherworldly reverence, to portray Queer joy, radical softness and intimacy, the power of authentic self-autonomy and liberated, unapologetic sexuality. Inevitably there is also a sense of exploring my own Queer identity through my subjects.

I depict individuals who are fearless and confident in their expression, as I ultimately aim to be in my own right.
