DEBBY WANG

Attended the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna before pursuing studies in Vibraphone Performance and Jazz Composition at Berklee College of Music in the United States. In March 2021, co-organized the transnational music festival "Island Torch Music Festival: Composer Series" with Berklee College of Music; in August, was invited to perform a solo vibraphone recital at the National Theater Concert Hall Jazz Summer Concert. In 2022, she led Debby Wang's Mini Orchestra in a performance on the main stage of the Taichung Jazz Festival.  Awarded second place in composition and third place in jazz vibraphone performance at the Italy Percussive Arts Society competition in 2022. In 2023, collaborated with Minelectro to lead the large ensemble Crossing Reality on tour alongside Japanese composer Eri Chichibu and artist Katsuko Minamoto, receiving widespread acclaim. In 2024, began working with the Rimini Protokoll "This Is Not an Embassy (Made In Taiwan)" as a music producer and actor, toured in several European and Asian countries. Released debut album "甘 Aftertaste" in February of the same year, nominated for the 15th Golden Melody Indie Awards "Best Jazz Song". Invited by FICEP Jazzy Colors Festival in Paris for Debby Wang And DAT Quartet. In 2025, she released her first headphone immersive theater "Social Animal".
